‘Barfi’ director Anurag Basu has booked Bollywood youth Icon Ranbir Kapoor for next two years. The duo has worked together in 2012 ‘Barfi’ which was a big hit, now they are planning to come together yet again with few more projects.
According to Indian media reports Anurag Basu said, “Ranbir is a good friend. If I am making a film and he suits the character, it's not like I am making a film with Ranbir on mind, but he is a good actor. He is versatile, which makes it easy for any filmmaker and we have a great time shooting together”.
“There are many actors who have impressed me. But this ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and the next film on late singer Kishore Kumar are with Ranbir. I don’t think I will work with any other actor apart from Ranbir for the next two years,” he added.
Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy shooting for ‘Roy’ along with Jacqueline Fernendez and ‘Bombay Velvet’ along with Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.
