KARACHI: Not long after the release of Samsung’s S4, a few teasing specs of the Galaxy S4 Mini have now been revealed, it was announced in New York.
Just like the Galaxy S3 Mini, this one will be packed with features similar to the S4 but fit it in a shrunken package. This will make the S4 Mini even tougher competition for Apple’s iPhone 5, which its predecessor already beats in nearly every aspect but size.
While S4 has a 5-inch screen with 441 pixels per inch, its not-so-small version will have a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED screen with nearly half the resolution: 256 pixels per inch. It is predicted to have a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, same as a version of the S4. Plus, it is expected to run on the same Android version 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) as well as TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0.
Reportedly, S4 Mini is to come in four variants, a dual-core version, a dual-SIM version, an LTE one and a China one.
