HOLLYWOOD: Taiwan-born director Ang Lee collected the Oscar for best director Sunday for "Life of Pi," the epic film adaptation of Canadian novelist Yann Martel's tale of a boy in a lifeboat with a live tiger.
"Thank you, movie god," said Lee -- who also won best director in 2006 for "Brokeback Mountain" -- as he thanked Martel "for writing this wonderful inspiring book," as well as the cast and crew of the film.
