Sindh reported on Monday 1776 new coronavirus cases and 22 deaths taking the provincial tally to 55581 and 853 respectively.
In his daily coronavirus update, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said in the past 24 hours, the province tested 9080 people out of which 1776 people tested positive. He said till now, Sindh has tested 307412 people. "Sindh has recorded 55581 coronavirus cases so far," the CM said.
Speaking about the deaths, Shah said in the past 24 hours, the province lost 22 more people to the virus. "Sindh has recorded 853 fatalities," he added. He continued that 627 patients are in critical condition while 87 are on ventilator.
"Today, 2417 patients have also recovered from the virus. The total number of recoveries in Sindh have reached 28023, which is 50%," the chief minister added.
