Federal Ombudsperson for Harassment Kashmala Tariq Monday said that not only women but men also can register their complaints regarding harassment in the office of Federal Ombudsperson.
She said this while speaking at the 8th annual Debating event held under the aegis of Debating Society of Ameer Uddin Medical College (PGMI).
Kashmala Tariq said that Islam gives equal rights to the men and women and it is our top priority to safeguard the rights of working women in their workplaces, as the harassment on working place is a big issue in our society.
Principal PGMI Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar said that women empowerment is necessary for national development. He said that 8th annual Intra Collegiate Debating event of 2020 is a good omen.
