Capital Development Authority (CDA) has ensured strict monitoring to curtail/stop the further expansion of Katchi Abadies of Islamabad.
The CDA constituted vigilance teams tasked to conduct visits of all Katchi Abadies round the week particularly during the week holidays and demolish every new construction.
In this connection, staff of Enforcement Directorate conducted an operation in Katchi Abadi G-8, and demolished an illegally constructed boundary wall. Construction of boundary wall was reported on Sunday during the visit of vigilance team and work was got stopped. Moreover, a truck laden with building blocks was also confiscated which was shifted to CDA store. During another operation, one (01) illegally under construction room in Katchi Abadi sector F-8/1 was demolished.-PR
