Amin Khatri, Chairman Exhibitions, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has said that trade with India would help in the development of industrial sectors of both countries.
He was addressing a gathering of industrialists and businessmen at a reception organised in his honour here at local hotel.
He said the "Made in Pakistan Exhibition" held at New Delhi, in the exhibition Pakistani goods attracted large number of people and members of business community.
He further said that there was a general impression in public and business community in India that Pakistani products are more sophisticated and advanced compared to Indian products.
He said that he visited various parts of India and found that Pakistan had better prospects for marketing its goods in Indian market.
Amin said the only field where India enjoys upper hand was the information technology. He said that the primary need was to improve the quality of our products as cost and quality would be the only criteria during WTO regime.
The reception was attended by number of prominent members of trade and industry and regional heads of banks.
