ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday announced to hold by-election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa constituency PK-95 Lower Dir-II on May 07, 2015.
This seat of provincial assembly had fallen vacant after election of Jamat-e-Islami Chief Sirajul Haq to the Senate of Pakistan.
According to the schedule issued by the ECP, public notice will be issued by Returning Officer on March 30, 2015 and dates for filing nomination papers have been set for April 02 and 03.
Scrutiny of nomination papers will be carried out on April 06 and 07 while last date for filing appeals against decision of Returning Officer about rejection and acceptance of nomination papers has been set for April 10, 2015.
Last date for decision on appeals will be April 15 while date for withdrawal of candidature by the contestants has been set for April 16, 2015.
Publication of revised list of candidates will be made on April 17 while election will be held on May 07, 2015.
