FAISALABAD: The government's decision to cut down in power tariff is a good step for national development and revival of the national economy.
In a statement issued here Saturday, Regional Chairman All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA) Muhammad Ahmed said this and added the decision will help reduce cost of textile production and increase Pakistani textile products.
He said Pakistani value added textile products had unique status in international market due to its high quality. The government had focused the textile industry which had 65 percent of total exports of the country and decided to reduce energy cost which was a very good omen, he said.
Muhammad Ahmed hoped the government would more decrease prices of electricity and POL and said such type of decisions will bring about industrial revolution and country will become prosperous and people will get employment opportunities.
