RAWALPINDI: The birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan (AS), grandson of the holy prophet Muhammad (PBUP) was observed.
The Markazi Imam Hussain Council (MIHC) arranged 37th birth anniversary conference of Hazrat Imam Hassan (AS) here in which Ulemas and Mashaikhs from different school of thoughts participated. The conference was held at Eid Gah Sharif Asghar, Mall Road Rawalpindi in connection with the birth anniversary of the grandson of the holy prophet (PBUH).
Ulema and Zakreen addressing the conference highlighted the pious character of Imam Hassan (AS) in great detail. They paid tributes to the elder grandson of prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Speaking on the occasion, the Ulema and religious scholars highlighted the role of Imam Hassan (AS) for the cause of Islam and efforts which were made by him for the unity of masses at that time.
The speakers said that Imam Hassan (AS) taught humanity a practical lesson, to live in peace, which is a key to success in this world and hereafter.
The speakers further said that according to a saying of the prophet (PBUH) Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS) are the Lords of the youth of Heaven.
