Three cops injured in roadside blast

imageUPPER DIR: At least three policemen sustained injuries when their vehicle was attacked with a remote controlled bomb in Upper Dir on Saturday.

According to police, the mobile van of police was on routine patrol in Joghabun area near Sahib Abad when it was attacked with a remote controlled roadside bomb.

As a result, three policemen sustained injuries and immediately shifted to Warai hospital.

The police vehicle was partially damaged in the explosion.

The security forces started a search operation in the area to nab the miscreants involved.
