Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has raised voice against intolerance and support Pakistani actress Mahira Khan to work in Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan too has finally broken silence on the Shiv Sena matter. According to Indian Express, he said, “Well the fact that she is in my film means that she should be… the word is not allowed. Whichever place starts questioning its creative people will face backlash”.
Shah Rukh further said that creative people have nothing to do with it. Politics of the two countries should be handled by the politicians and inter-culture exchange of artists between the two countries doesn’t change anything.
As Indian extremist political party Shiv Sena continues to protest against Pakistani artists, a few days back, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was targeted by Shiv Sena and said that they won’t allow Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to promote their movies in Mumbai.
Shiv Sena is completely on an anti-Pakistan mode as they are set to stop anything which is ‘made in Pakistan’. Several Bollywood celebrities have come out in support of actors and performers from across the border. Actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Siddharth Malhotra have also support Pakistani actors in this issue.
Mahira Khan will be making her Indian movie debut in ‘Raees’ as the wife of Shah Rukh Khan, which is scheduled to be released next Eid.
