A few days ago, news of Shahid Kapoor’s quiet engagement to Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput spread like wildfire. Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor failed to avoid the rumours and finally came out in open to reveal his wedding plans.
According to Indian media reports, Shahid Kapoor recently admitted that his marriage is on cards and he is very happy to announce that. Although ‘Haider’ actor did not mention Mira Rajput's name but the actor apparently admitted that he is going to get married to a non-celebrity girl.
Kapoor further added, "I am not engaged yet but marriage is on cards. Please co-operate with me and I will let you know about everything soon. She is a normal girl and I am a normal boy, we should treat it as a normal thing. I am very happy to announce it”.
Mira Rajput, an English Honours student at Lady Sriram College, Delhi met Shahid Kapoor through the religious group followed by their parents.
The actor now awaits the release of his next film ‘Shaandaar’ opposite to Alia Bhatt, a Vikas Bahl film that is touted as India’s first wedding destination film.
