Supermodel Cara Delevingne is said to have landed a huge role as a mermaid in the upcoming adaptation of 'Peter Pan'
Warner Bros. released the first trailer for ‘Pan’ which it hopes will be a blockbuster. The movie is directed by Joe Wright.
The gorgeous model features only for a few seconds in the trailer, she certainly looks mesmerizing with blonde mane fanned around her and a slight glimpse of her glittery purple tail.
According to media reports, she is perfect to play a mermaid as she has a body to die for and is very glamorous on screen. It will be quite a demanding role as there will be a lot of underwater work and stunts. Filming underwater could scare a lot of actresses but Cara is definitely up for the challenge.
While, Cara couldn't contain her excitement as she told fans on Instagram, “Mermazing so excited for you to see the ‘Pan’ trailer. It's gonna be a wonderful movie”.
Director Joe Wright (Hanna, Pride & Prejudice) helmed this origin story of ‘Peter Pan’, which puts a new spin on J. M. Barrie's 1911 novel. ‘Pan’ will hit US and UK theatres on July 17, 2015 in IMAX 3D.
