The fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) would get its second finalist tonight in a clash of champions, as two-time PSL champions Islamabad United would collide with one-time PSL champs Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium, Karachi.

For Islamabad United the entry into the second eliminator came after a hard fought victory against Karachi Kings last night (Thursday), so it will need to be seen that Mohammad Sami’s men have fully recovered from the exhaustion in Friday’s encounter or not.

For United the good thing is Alex Hales is back in the squad and the Englishmen is probably suffering from no jet leg, after he piled up a Man of the Match 41 runs on the board, to take his side closer to the PSL crown.

The side will also have the facilities of blaster Asif Ali available, who has the knack to swing momentum in any situation. Meanwhile, coming to bowling, the two time champions would need to control on their flow of runs in the initial phase of the inning, and should probably introduce spinners including Shadab Khan early on the attack.

Talking about Peshawar Zalmi, the Daren Sammy’s led side is undoubtedly one of the feistiest in the PSL, which was particularly evident in the first play-off against old nemesis Quetta Gladiators. The top order however, including Kamran Akmal and Imam ul Haq need to fire up in order to put up massive scores on the board.

Whereas, bowling wise the Yellow Storm possess one of the best fast bowling artillery in Tymal Mills, Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali. However, speedster Sameen Gul needs to work on to bowl economically.
