HYDERABAD: The General Secretary Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Sindh, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Haleem Adil Shaikh has informed that PTI would soon start campaign of “Save Sindh, Eliminate Corruption” to ensure corruption free Sindh.

Addressing the news conference here at Hyderabad Press Club on Monday, he said all provincial government departments are in grip of corruption therefore the provincial chapter of the party has decided to make these departments free from this menace by launching campaign.

A walk in this regard will also be taken out soon, he added.

He said Pakistan People Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has started conducting last public meetings as he realized that he would soon be shifted from Bilawal House to Adiala Jail.

He got in power as a result of the assassination of Benazir Bhutto and whatever corruption he committed during the period would not hidden from the eyes of the people, MPA Haleem Adil Shaikh asserted.

He said that death of children in Tharparkar and suicides of people due to poverty and hunger in various parts of the province were being reported during the PPP tenure as Asif Ali Zardari had snatched all from the hands of common people.

The party founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had raised slogan of “Roti, Kapra aur Makan” for all, but during the current tenure of PPP, people of the province had been deprived of their basic needs, he added.

The PPP was now not the party of Bhuttos but it was the group of corrupt persons like Asif Ali Zardari, Anwar Majeed and Ayan Ali, he said and added that days of these corrupt persons have been counted and now they would be accountable of their corruption.

He said that those who were asking the hundred days performance of PTI government first informed what they did for the province. The provincial local government minister should inform when the people of Karachi would get their share of water and removal of garbage from city, he said.

MPA Haleem Adil Shaikh said that PTI remained stood for the right of the people of Sindh and would launch the accountability campaign so that who usurped the rights and plundered the national exchequer could be made accountable.

Among others, PTI leaders Khawand Bux Jahejo, Mehfooz Ursani and Jamshaid Ali sheikh were also present on the occasion.
