LAHORE: Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan Thursday directed the development authorities to submit details of the anti-encroachment campaigns in their respective areas to the Local Governments (LG) Department.
The LG Department has issued a notification in this regard.
The authorities have been asked to provide details of the total area retrieved so far and the remaining state land in the illegal control of land-grabbers.
Details have been sought from Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha and Bahawalpur authorities.
The department has also asked for submission of details of Clean and Green Punjab campaign and the role of the development agencies.
A focal person will also be nominated by these agencies to keep close liaison with the LG Department, and these agencies will also coordinate with the divisional director of the department in their respective divisions.
