PESHAWAR: The nomination papers of former President and Chief of All Pakistan Muslim League, General Pervaiz Musharraf has been accepted for NA-32 Chitral constituency.
The returning Officer for the constituency has announced the acceptance of the papers of the former dictator after keeping the decision on the same reserved for two days.
It is worth mentioning here that all the main political parties PPP, PML-N, PTI, JI and some lawyers had moved an application to the Returning Officer against acceptance of his papers.
As many as nine points were raised against the candidature of the former President from the constituency including abrogation of the constitution and detaining judges of the superior courts.
