QUETTA: The Provincial Election Commission Balochistan has continued transportation of ballot papers from Quetta to different districts of the province for conducting local bodies elections on December 7.
Official sources in the commission told APP, here on Friday that ballot papers have reached Quetta from Islamabad and their transportation to different districts was underway.
"We received ballot papers from Islamabad for four districts including Qila Saifullah, Noshki, Chagai and Barkhan and they were transported to the respective districts," they said, adding that dispatching of ballot papers to remaining districts would also be made soon.
They further said that helicopters would be used for transportation of ballot papers to sensitive districts.
"We will strictly ensure implementation of code of ethics and rules and regulations during the local bodies elections for their smooth and transparent conducting," said Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan, Syed Sultan Bayazeed.
