FAISALABAD: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that Rs. 1.6 billion had been allocated to equip police with latest security gadgets.
Addressing an Eid Millan party here Friday, he said that government was committed to provide protection to life and property of citizens.
He said that police had been tasked to arrest the proclaimed offenders besides controlling street crimes.
The minister said, the government had also allocated huge funds for the development of Faisalabad city.
