rehman malikISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik Monday said Pakistan and India have pursued a process of dialogue that will improve the bilateral relations.

 

Talking to newsmen here at a local hotel on the occasion of republic day reception hosted by Indian High Commissioner, the Interior Minister said it is in the interest of both the countries, India and Pakistan that the peace process should be continued and all the issues should be resolved through negotiations.

 

The Interior Minister said dialogue process is the only way forward to improve the bilateral relations of Pakistan and India.

 

Replying to a question about the recent statement of bollywood Muslim star Shah Rukh, the Interior Minister asked the Indian Government to provide security to Shah Rukh. He said although Shah Rukh is a Muslim but he is Indian national and it is their responsibility to provide him security to remove the apprehensions of Shah Rukh in this regard.

 

The Interior Minister expressed the hoped that the visa agreement signed between the two countries would be implemented in letter and spirit and all the senior citizens would be given visa on arrival.

 

Replying to a question about giving visa to sister of Sarbageet Singh, the Interior Minister said Pakistan is ready to give her visa any time whoever she will approach the Pakistan's High Commission in New Delhi.
