dengue 400LAHORE: Chairman Dengue Emergency Response Committee Aziz Bhatti Town, MPA Allah Rakha Chaudhry has said owing to timely measures taken by the Punjab government this year, the spread of dengue virus was controlled to save the precious lives of people.

 

Presiding over an anti-dengue meeting held at Cantt court on Wednesday, he said that a seminar in this regard was being held at Society Public School Mughalpura on Thursday (November 8) which would be attended by people belonging to various walks of life.

 

After the seminar, commendatory certificates would be awarded to those who gave excellent performance.

 

He said, a two-day international dengue conference would also be held on November 10 and 11 which would be attended by foreign medical experts, ambassadors and consulate generals.

 

He said the government was determined to ensure the protection of life and property of the people at all cost. He urged the people and political workers to continue their anti-dengue efforts for rooting out this disease permanently.
