KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 16047.41 with a positive change of 85.04 and volume of 55,240,450 shares.

High and Low were 16054.76 and 15962.37 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 75,859,650 shares with 263 total traded companies out of which 158 were up, 88 were down and 17 were unchanged.

Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,394,000 shares. It was followed by Personal Goods (Textile) with a total traded volume of 7,751,350 shares.

The three top traded companies were Fauji Cement with a volume of 8,668,500 and price per share of 6.54 (0.10), Pace (Pak) Ltd. with a volume 7,487,500 of price per share of 3.06 (0.15) and Maple Leaf Cement with a volume of 5,039,000 and price per share of 10.55 (0.42).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Limited with price per share of 910.00 (20.00), Sanofi-Aventis Pak with price per share of 314.88 (14.99) and Pak OilfieldsXD. with price share of 424.00 (9.91).

The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) XD with price per share of 1410.75 (-74.25), Pak Gum & Chemical with price per share of 187.97 (-74.25) and ZIL Limited XD with price per share of 113.79 (-5.98).
