Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) stalwart Ch Aitezaz Ahsan said Saturday the PPP has never been involved in the politics of religion. Talking to media, he said the PPP had made it clear to Maulana Fazlur Rehman that it would not be involved in the politics of religion. He said the PPP had also pointed out to him that Sharif family cornered itself after rendering apology and those who were making fiery speeches are silent today.
He said both Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Ahsan Iqbal have also restricted themselves to making statements. He said the political parties should learn from the bar associations where candidates forget their differences right after the elections.
