Diabetes, blood pressure level and heartbeat of Nawaz Sharif have improved and overall health condition of Nawaz Sharif is out of danger, provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, said.
In a statement, Dr Yasmin Rashid said that patients who have symptoms like Nawaz Sharif, their platelets count increase and drop. All details regarding Nawaz Sharif's treatment have been provided to the doctors of Sharif Medical City Hospital, she said. Dr. Yasmin maintained that members of special medical board met with the doctors of Sharif Medical City Hospital and shared the medical reports and details with them. Any patient in Pakistan can be diagnosed through DNA test. She said that medical board can take final decision regarding genetic test of Nawaz Sharif. Bone marrow of Nawaz Sharif is producing platelets, she added.
Moreover, Dr. Yasmin chaired a meeting of cabinet committee, which reviewed the measures taken for rooting out dengue from the province as well as facts and figures of anti-dengue campaign.
Capt. Muhammad Usman (retd) briefed the meeting regarding measures taken by the government to control the dengue in the province.
Dr Yasmin Rashid lauded the efforts made by administration and said that number of dengue cases have substantially been reduced. She said that dengue patients are being specially looked after in public sector hospitals besides providing free of cost diagnostic facilities to them.
