Some members of Britain’s Conservative Party have reportedly been issued with more than one ballot paper to vote for the next party leader and prime minister.

More than 1,000 members have been sent more than one form to vote for the party leader and the next PM. According to BBC, more than a thousand voters could be affected. The party members have been warned in the ballot papers that voting twice will mean that they are expelled. “It’s made very clear on the ballot paper that you are only allowed to vote once. I expect Conservative members to follow that,” BBC quoted former cabinet minister Sir Patrick McLoughlin.

Ballot papers have been sent to around 160,000 Conservative Party members around the country. These voters will choose between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt as Theresa May's replacement as the party's next leader and the next prime minister.

The voting will close on July 22 after which the the result announced on July 23.
