KU announces LLB, BA LLB results

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (KU) Controller of Examinations, Professor Dr. Arshad Azmi on Wednesday announced the results of LLB and BA LLB annual examination-2018.

According to the gazette issued here, 611 candidates were registered for LLB (Final) papers of which 595 students appeared and 22 candidates were declared passed with first division while 178 students cleared their exams with second division and 395 candidates were declared fail. The overall pass percentage was 33.61 percent.

Farhad Sultan son of Haji Sultan Muhammad having seat number 22805 and student of SM Government Law College clinched first position with 1358 marks out of total 2100 marks. Another student of SM Government Law College, Muhammad Ali s/o Muhammad Mubeen Bhatti, having seat number 22838, bagged second position with 1341 marks whereas Abdul Rauf of SM Government Law College with seat number 22781 collected 1338 marks and stood third.

The KU Controller of Examinations mentioned that 40 candidates were registered and all of them appeared in BA LLB (Hons), [Final Year] papers. As per gazette, 19 students passed their exams with first division and five candidates with second division whereas 16 students were declared fail. The overall pass percentage was 60 percent.

Eliya Watto daughter of Abdul Sattar Watto bearing seat number 23425 of SM Government Law College sealed the first position with 2218 marks out of total 3100 marks. Ramsha Navaid d/o Navaid Mirza of SM Government Law College with seat number 23427 got second position with 2140 marks while another student of SM Government Law College, Shahid Nazir s/o Nazir Ahmed Memon, seat number 23409, received third position with 2111 marks.

Professor Dr. Arshad Azmi also mentioned that 43 candidates were registered for BA LLB (Hons) Part-II papers of which 41 students appeared in the exams and 36 candidates were declared pass and five failed. The overall pass percentage was 87.80 percent.
