Punjab Industries and Trade Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that soft loan programme for skilled youth is ready and will be launched next month and women will be given special incentives in this programme. He expressed these views while addressing a prize distribution ceremony of a private school here on Saturday. He said youth is the future of Pakistan and the nation has much expectation from them.
"The Punjab government will empower the youth imparting them with latest technology and we will change the destiny of the nation by empowering them," he added. He also said that the youth has to play an important role for the progress of the country and to materialise the dreams of their parents.
"Education is the only way to move forward and the nation who gave importance to education made tremendous progress. The Punjab government has placed education on its top priority and steps are being taken for the promotion of quality education," he added. The Minister said that many programmes have been prepared for the empowerment of youth. He also distributed certificates and cash prizes among the position holders.
