Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said he will soon announce mega development projects for Multan division worth billions of rupees after a detailed visit of this region of south Punjab He was talking to of members of National Assembly, Provincial Assembly and City President of PTI in Multan on Sunday. He assured that there wouldn't be any deprivation in this area after implementation of this development package. PTI government has diverted resources towards backward areas of south Punjab.
He said that development projects worth of billions of rupees have been announced for Dera Ghazi Khan, Tunsa and Barthi for provision of basic facilities like health, education, shelter and jobs for the youth.
Buzdar added, PTI has bagged votes in the name of "change" which would be visible. PM Imran Khan had nominated an MPA of a backward Tehsil as CM of Punjab which is an undeniable proof of actual change
The elected representatives of Multan described the development package for DG Khan, Tunsa and Barthi as historic. They hoped that South Punjab will be a developed area of Punjab during tenure of PTI government because CM Buzdar is well aware of the issues of people. Contrary to past, practical steps are being taken to resolve problems of people. They discussed proposals for development of South Punjab, especially people of Multan in the meeting.
CM Buzdar also met with affected families of a recent fatal road accident during his visit to Multan. He condoled death of their relatives and offered fateha. He gave financial assistance of Rs0.5 million to each family of deceased and Rs75,000 to each injured person in the accident.
