ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government showed flexibility for resolving the issue of appointment of Public Accounts Committee's (PAC) Chairman.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the PTI-led government was committed for smooth working of the National Assembly and asked the opposition leaders to decide about the head of PAC.

He said the present government was successfully running the country's affairs, besides taking steps to strengthen its trade and export volume.

He said the government was ready to amend the NAB law with the consultation of all political parties to make it more stronger against the corruption.

He assured that during the PTI government, there would be no political interference in official matters of NAB.

Unfortunately, he said, mostly records including properties, agriculture lands and others were manual due to which NAB was taking much time to investigate the cases of corruption.

Replying to a question regarding cases against Sharif family, he said no political victimization was being done by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, adding, all the cases against Sharif family was started in the tenure of previous regime.

He further said even the money laundering case against PML-N leader Khawaja Asif in NAB had started when he was federal minister in previous government.

To a qurey, he said the people was standing behind Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government and supported the ongoing accountability process in the country.
