Looking for a restaurant on your holiday tour or curious enough about a billboarded sight to divert off the road? Now, iOS Google Maps users can add pit stops along their route and still remain in navigation mode.
The feature has been available on the Android version of Google Maps since October 2015. Now Google Maps has rolled out the update in its app for iOS mobile devices as well.
To use, just tap on the magnifying glass at the top right corner of the screen while in navigation mode and a menu of options will appear. There is also the choice to search via voice commands.
