Small business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday as most of the leading buyers were on the sidelines due to lack of fresh purchasing, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab lost Rs 125 to Rs 10250 and Moong Afghanistan shed the same amount to Rs 11625 on easy supply position, Gur low quality, however, was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 6000 and the best type was up by Rs 400 to Rs 6500, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh failed to sustain week-end levels, losing Rs 25 to Rs 2950 and Rs 3000, they said. On the seeds front, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh new was unmoved at Rs 2000 while best quality was lower by Rs 25 to Rs 2100, they added. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, dealers said.
