ANP to fully participate in general election: Asfandyar    

SWABI: Central President ANP, Asfnadyar Wali Khan Tuesday said the Awami National Party (ANP) would fully participate in the general election on July 25.

Contrary to general election 2013, when ANP was on the hit list of the terrorist, all the parties were being targeted during the general election 2018, except only one party, he claimed addressing a public meeting here.

The ANP leader said that anti state elements did not want elections process to continue, nevertheless his party would continue its electoral campaign despite all odds.

“If I am targeted by the terrorist in the electoral process the workers should continue their election canvassing abiding by principles of peace and harmony," he asked the party workers.

He criticised the remarks of Pervaiz Khattak at a public meeting against the PPP and its leadership, and said that the former chief minister should not forget that he himself was also a member of the PPP some years back.
