LDA seals four private housing schemes

During a joint operation against illegal housing schemes along Ferozepur Road, staff of the Metropolitan Planning and Town Planning Wings of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed site offices of four private housing schemes on Friday. According to LDA's spokesperson, site offices of Alharm Garden, Abdullah Town, Gulberg Town and Saleem Garden were sealed while site office of Haji Park was demolished Roads and other physical infrastructures, including sewerage system and manholes were also demolished during this operation.
Meanwhile, LDA Departmental Promotion Committee promoted 22 officials in Grade 17. The promoted officials include five staff officers, nine private secretaries, four sub engineers, two computer officers, one Circle Head Draftsman and one private Senior Scale Stenographer. Also, LDA Additional Director General (HQ) Amina Munir posted three assistant directors upon their joining LDA.
