Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited's (PTCL) landmark project of developing youths through its Triple~E Programme continued for the third consecutive year. Second batch of the programme concluded successfully where over 400 graduates from all across the country benefited.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the Triple~E Programme provides a year-long opportunity to fresh graduates for learning and development through hands-on training, live projects, job rotations, exposure to a fast-paced corporate culture and cutting-edge information and communication technologies.
The programme enables Enrichment, Encouragement and Evolution through a highly structured learning and engagement system implemented and improved every year, so that young graduates could compete in today's highly competitive job environment confidently and professionally. It is one of the most successful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the country. Recently, PTCL held closing ceremonies for the second batch of Triple~E graduates in all major cities of the country.
PTCL's Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) Syed Mazhar Hussain said: "PTCL firmly believes in the capacity building of youth and play an active role in accelerating the economic progress of the country. The programme will empower Pakistani youth to seek better and brighter future for themselves." "We are also creating an alumni network for all graduating batches of Triple~E programme, so that we stay connected with them, to see them growing in their careers and share updates about the PTCL's business operations, culture and matching job opportunities for them emerging in the future," he added.
This year's training included 198 learning sessions, comprising functional and soft skill trainings, nearly 600 individual live projects, more than 200 job rotations as well as regular feedback and career counselling sessions. The third batch of Triple~E interns has also been selected from thousands of applications received and interviews undertaken across the country. The initiative reflected PTCL's commitment towards corporate responsibility initiatives and vision of developing the youth.-PR
