Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah is the poorest among all the four chief ministers of Pakistan, according to annual assets details of parliamentarians released by Election Commission of Pakistan. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif tops the four provinces chief ministers the richest provincial chief executive.
His assets are worth Rs 550 million; of which personal assets worth Rs 260 million are in the name of his first wife Nusrat, while assets worth Rs 10 million belong to his second wife, Tehmina. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak owns assets worth Rs 270 million, whereas Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah's assets amount to Rs 20 million. Whereas Balochistan Chief Minister, Abdul Malik Baloch has Rs 60 million assets.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the richest while Jamshed Dasti is the poorest parliamentarian. The wealth details of leader of opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah show an increase of Rs 6.7 million. The total value of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's assets exceeds Rs 2.10 billion and during one year an increase of Rs 280 million was reported in his assets' worth. Khurshid Shah's total assets are worth more than Rs 40.27 million. During 2013, Khurshid Shah's assets were recorded as Rs 30.6 million. Imran Khan's assets amount to Rs 32 million. In 2013, Imran's total assets were worth Rs 20 million and there had been an increase of over Rs 10 million in Khan's assets.
Chief of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has assets worth Rs 6.7 million. Fazl had assets worth Rs 4 million in 2013. Jamshed Dasti did not show anything, while Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has assets worth Rs 30.91 million. Last year Rashid's assets were worth Rs 30.70 million.
