Civil Aviation Authority is inducting people on merit through the help of NTS (National Testing Service). On the other hand, process of verifying the degrees of its employees from PG-1 to PG-11 and up till now CAA has identified around 50 employees who were inducted on the basis of fake degrees who will be dealt accordingly.
According to the CAA spokesperson CAA has made it clear that they won't tolerate any discrepancies in the induction system, employees who were hired on the basis of fake degrees are being examined upon and will be punished as per rules. All CAA employees' degrees of PG-1 to PG-11 are being examined and who ever so degree is found to be fake will be dealt accordingly.
Spokesperson of CAA said that Authority is trying hard to promote merit system all across the board and as a result all the induction is done through the NTS whereas even the promotions are also done on merit. Spokesperson further added that DG CAA Air Marshal Muhammad Yousaf (Retd) and Chief Human Resource Sumair Saeed are very adamant and firm in their approach and will do everything possible to ensure that merit is implemented all across the board and that transparency prevails in the system.-PR
