The Site Association of Industry (SAI) and Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to impart training to BISP beneficiaries. SAI Chairman Younus M Bashir and BISP Chairman Enver Baig signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations, here on Monday.
Under the MoU, vocational training would be imparted to BISP beneficiaries to provide trained workforce to the industry. Speaking on the occasion, Bashir said that the association would provide training to BISP beneficiaries besides Rs 6,000 stipend under the BISP's Waseela-e-Rozgar programme.
