Bulls dominated the proceedings on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Thursday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 5.08 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,663.52 to 4,668.60 points. The overall turnover amounted to 61,101 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,500 shares.
Total 162 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (60) closed in positive territory, 102 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 31,500 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 25,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 4,000 shares.
