Happy bride Aisha Khan signs her nikkahnama
After actor Feroz Khan's marriage two weeks ago, another celebrity wedding has recently been trending on internet and it is none other than the gorgeous Aisha Khan's marriage.
The wedding rituals and ceremonies began for Aisha and Major Uqbah two days ago, while the ‘Gidh’ actress has now officially changed her marital status from single to married yesterday.
Aisha, who had been ruling the Pakistani drama industry for over a decade, decided to leave the world of glitz and glamour quite abruptly after she announced farewell to the drama/movie industry in a Facebook post.
The post led many in believing that the actress might be settling down and surprisingly the speculations turned out to true when she announced her engagement to Major Uqbah a few days later.
On Thursday, the newlywed couple had a traditional mehendi ceremony and yesterday Aisha Khan finally became Mrs Aisha Uqbah following her nikkah ceremony.
The actress looked divine in an off white and cream colored traditional shirt and gharara dress with a light green border. Uqbah wore matching waistcoat with a plain shalwar kameez.
Aisha’s wedding till now has been a rather quite one with a few close friends from the industry invited including Hamza Ali Abbasi and Gohar Rasheed, who were seen in her mehendi ceremony. However, the highlight of the mehendi ended up being the dance of Aisha and Uqbah on the famous Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee song ‘Despacito’.
