PPP, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday constituted a committee for seat adjustment in upcoming general elections for Peshawar and Mardan division, which will make contacts with different political parties. A meeting of the committee in this regard was held here in the Residence of Syed Zahir Ali, Provincial Minister for Health and Convenor of the panel.
The committee reviewed matters relating to making contacts with different political parties. The meeting, besides, Convenor, Syed Zahir Ali Shah was attended by Federal Minister for Communications, Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise & Taxation, Liaquat Shabab, Abdul Akbar Khan, Abdul Samad Khan Toru, Provincial Deputy Secretary General, Zahir Shah Toru, Iftikhar Ahmad Khan Jhagra, Naeem Khan Umerzai, Nighat Yasmin Orakzai MPA and others.
The meeting constituted an authorised committee for contacting different political parties in Peshawar and Mardan Divisions. Former provincial president, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health, Syed Zahir Ali Shah was appointed as convenor while PPP KP Deputy Secretary General, Zahir Shah Toru as Secretary.
The committee has been fully authorised for taking decision regarding seat to seat adjustment with any political party in the two central divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
