KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.576 billion and the number of lots traded was 13,176.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.275 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.977 billion), DJ (PKR 2.725 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.835 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.654 billion), Platinum (PKR 476.020 million), SP 500 (PKR 186.571 million), Silver (PKR 151.164 million), Copper (PKR 103.800 million), Natural Gas (PKR 78.655 million), Japan Equity (PKR 64.893 million) and Brent (PKR 45.574 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 19 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 34.619 million was traded.
