BENGALURU: Indian shares opened lower on Wednesday as sentiment worsened after data fuelled deflation risks in China ahead of US inflation data and the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) policy decision on Thursday.

Indian shares open higher led by auto stocks

The Nifty 50 index was down 0.10% at 19550.80, while the S&P BSE Sensex fell 0.20% to 65,716.88 at 9:20 a.m. IST.
