KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday slumped but silver remained firm on the local market, traders said. Gold lost its value by Rs 2700 to Rs237300 per tola and Rs 2314 to Rs 203447 per 10 grams.
Silver prices remained unchanged as it was traded for its all-time highs of Rs 3100 per tola and Rs 2657.75 per 10 grams. On the world market, gold prices stood for $ 2038 per ounce and silver at $ 25.06 per ounce, traders said.
