KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) reserves decreased by $ 250 million to $16.212 billion during the last week due to external debt and other payments.

According to weekly report issued on Thursday, the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $ 22.669 billion as of March 4, 2022 compared to $22.875 billion a week earlier, showing a decline of $ 206 million.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks rose by $ 44 million to $ 6.457 billion end of the last week.
