KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.270 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,263.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.278 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.150 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.322 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 554.617 million), DJ (PKR 486.956 million), Natural Gas (PKR 350.749 million), Platinum (PKR 346.358 million), Silver (PKR 330.588 million), SP 500 (PKR 163.713 million), Japan Equity (PKR 159.050 million) and Copper (PKR 127.588 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 24 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 24.345 million were traded.
