An eminent journalist Bashir Ahmed Qureshi passed away on Tuesday. He was 95. He is survived by his son Sarmad Bashir, former president of the Lahore Press Club, and a daughter Nadia Saad. He started his career from Pakistan Times in the 1970s and also served as bureau chief for PPI and the Dawn. His funeral will be taken from House No 143, Block-II, Sector C-II, Township at 10am today (Wednesday).
