Malinga stuns fans by bowling off-spin

Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga is known for his lethal high paced toe-crushers which has troubled the batsmen all around the world, but the 34-year-old stunned fans by bowling off spin in a domestic game.

Malinga with his usual sling-arm action bowled a spell of off-spin and to everybody's amazement scalped three wickets which helped his side win the match.

In a domestic match, the pacer representing Teejay Lanka showed his skills of off-spin in final of the MCA ‘A’ division knockout tournament against LB Finance.

For his bowling capabilities as an off-spinner, Malinga maintained a tight line around middle and leg stump cramping up the batsmen and reaping results.

His three wickets helped his team win the match by 82 runs through the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method.
