The Punjab government is committed to have close collaboration with Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the province for accommodating the business community in their trade activities.
The Consultant to Chief Minister Punjab on Economic Affairs and Vice Chairman, Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), Pir Saad Ahsanuddin stated this while talking to a delegation of business community, says a spokesman of the Board here on Tuesday.
Pir Saad said that local as well as foreign investors are being encouraged to initiate fresh ventures in the province, and for this purpose, an investment friendly atmosphere has been developed in Punjab by launching comprehensive business policies. He said that with a view to accelerate economic activities, a vigorous plan is being pursued by the Punjab government.
