ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Saturday said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had always shown political maturity and responsibility on issues and was completely united.

Talking to PTV, he said PML-N had full confidence on the courts and judiciary.

The governor said sit-ins and politics of agitation had made irreparable loss to the country, adding Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) was responsible for delaying the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

He said CPEC was a great project which would change fate of Pakistan and entire region, he added.

Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said PTI was failed to deliver good governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and accountability institution was not effectively working in the province.

He said PTI's politics of allegations had left bad impact on the national economy and image of the country.

Replying to a question, he said Imran Khan was creating hurdles in the way of country's development and did not want to see a prosperous Pakistan.

He said election was the best way of doing politicians' accountability.
